Refrigerated Air Dryer - CompAir CES Series

  • Cycling Refrigerated Dryer
  • 90 to 675 scfm
  • Energy Saving Compressed Air Dryers
  • Refrigerated air dryers are the most commonly used type of compressed air dryer pressure dew points as low as + 38 degrees F
    • Low initial cost - low operating cost - suitable for general industrial applications
  • Cycling refrigerated compressed air dryers use refrigeration to reduce the pressure dew point of compressed air.
  • The refrigerant compressor is controlled by a temperature switch, which cycles the compressor on and off, based on inlet heat load demand.
  • Due to the load matching operation, maximum energy savings is achieved.
  • The dryer lowers the temperature of the process air close to the freezing point of water, which causes the moisture in the air to condense out.
  • ISO Air Quality 4-5 pressure dew points are delivered (+38⁰F to +45⁰F)
  • The condensed liquid is taken out of the system with a separator, equipped with an automatic drain
  • Ten Flow Models - Rated flow capacities range 90 to 675 scfm (153 to 1147 nm3/hr) at ISO 7183:2007 (Option A2) conditions:
    • 100°F (38°C) inlet air temperature
    • 100% saturated inlet air
    • 100 psig (6.9 bar) operating pressure
    • 100°F (38°C) ambient air temperature
    • 85°F (29°C) cooling water
